The Ganol-CMU team conducted a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) at Abiselagre Village, Rerapara Block, on 9 February 2026. The programme witnessed the active participation of 62 individuals representing 67 households in the village, including the Village Headman, VEC Secretary, VCF representatives, SHG members, VO representatives, youth, and elderly community members.

The PRA exercise employed various participatory tools such as Social Mapping, Resource Mapping, Historical Timeline, Seasonal Calendar, Problem Ranking, SWOT Analysis, and a Transect Walk. The villagers engaged enthusiastically throughout the process and confidently presented the maps and findings they had prepared, reflecting strong community involvement and collective learning.
