Field Visit Summary – Post-Survey Plantation Inspection
The team visited the plantation areas at Pomkaniew, Lynkien Shyiap, and Mawiong under Mylliem Block for the post-survey plantation assessment on the 1st Nov 2025. During the visit, it was observed that ANR plantation activities were carried out effectively, with saplings planted appropriately in the gaps of the existing forest. The survival rate of the saplings is excellent, and they appear healthy and well-maintained.

Weeding activities have been conducted properly, contributing to the overall upkeep of the plantation. The team appreciates the continuous efforts of the VCF for taking the initiative to monitor the plantation and for working closely with the landowners to ensure proper care of the saplings and the plantation areas.
