Field Visit Update – 9 September 2026
On 9 September 2026, the team visited Nokatgre and Angalgre villages along with the IC Team, SPMU and CMU Field Engineers, Social Team, and Environment Team.
At Nokatgre, the team inspected the ongoing construction of the retaining wall. However, continuous rainfall and the high water level in the river prevented construction activities from being carried out effectively.
At Angalgre, the team inspected the dugout pond, where work had commenced in July. The pond was observed to be dry. The team advised the concerned members to deepen the pond by approximately one metre to facilitate the natural emergence of water. They also advised them to complete the work at the earliest so that the pond could be used to collect rainwater during the ongoing rainy season.
