Field Visit Update – Abisolagre & Old Harigaon
1. Abisolagre – FPA 2 Poultry Site
The FPA 2 poultry intervention site at Abisolagre was visited. Although the Work Order (WO) was issued in June, the procurement process has not yet been completed by the VPIC. The VPIC was advised to expedite the procurement process to avoid further delays in implementation. Plantation sites were also inspected, and the spacing was found to be generally in accordance with the approved models, with only minor deviations observed in the Pineapple model.
2. Old Harigaon – FPA 3 Gabion Wall
The FPA 3 gabion wall site at Old Harigaon was visited, where the first layer of the gabion wall has been initiated. However, it was observed that the quality of the wire crates being used does not meet the required standard. As the site is located adjacent to the main road, the construction work should be carried out strictly in accordance with the approved estimate and technical specifications to ensure the quality, safety, and durability of the structure.
