On 25 June 2026, Ganol-CMU conducted a Local Purchase Committee (LPC) Training with participation from 55 members representing 14 VPICs.

The training aimed to strengthen participants' understanding of the procurement process, including vendor selection, the use of Request for Quotation (RFQ) procedures, and the key steps involved in purchasing materials. The programme enhanced the capacity of VPIC members to manage procurement activities efficiently and transparently, supporting the smooth implementation of project works and ensuring accountability in procurement practices.
