The Ganol-CMU team conducted a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) at Ghatgre Village under Rerapara

On 11th December 2025, the Ganol-CMU team conducted a Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) at Ghatgre Village under Rerapara Block, South West Garo Hills District.

Various PRA tools were utilized to collect comprehensive village data, including Social Mapping, Resource Mapping, Seasonal Calendar, Historical Timeline, Problem Ranking, and SWOT Analysis.

The community participated enthusiastically in the exercise, with a total of 71 participants present. Every participant actively engaged in one or more PRA activities. The participants included the Village Headman, VPIC Chairman and Vice-Chairman, VCF members, VEC President and Secretary, LPC members, village youth, and other community members.
The village community expressed their gratitude for being included in the MegARISE Project and committed to actively participate in all upcoming project activities with full cooperation.
