Site Verification Visit – Ganol Catchment
A joint site verification was conducted on 8th November 2025 by the CMU staff and the Water Resources Department, led by Shri. Bilseng, JE, and the Sectional Assistant. The visit aimed to identify potential sites within the Ganol Catchment area for the implementation of Soil and Water Conservation (SWC) activities.

The team visited Selbal Nokat, Rengsanggre, Mandal Nokat, and Dura Kalakage villages to assess proposed sites. In Dura Kalakage, one site was found suitable for a Check Dam, pending confirmation of a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from nearby orange garden owners. The VPICs from each village will update the team after community discussions.The visit was highly productive, with valuable technical inputs provided by Shri. Bilseng. A follow-up joint visit to additional villages has been scheduled for 10th November 2025.
