Strong community participation was observed at Mawngap Lumparing Village during the conduct of FPA 1, 2, and 3 activities by the Umiew CMU Team.

On 20th March 2026, strong community participation was observed at Mawngap Lumparing Village during the conduct of FPA 1, 2, and 3 activities by the Umiew CMU Team.

In FPA 1, a total of 45 participants expressed their vision for nature through drawings, while 5 participants took part in storytelling.
FPA 2 witnessed 7 participants presenting sustainable livelihood ideas such as piggery, food processing, and polyhouse for floriculture.
In FPA 3, 5 participants presented proposals including spring chamber construction, protection wall, and canal with filtration and check dam for water conservation.

Awards were presented to the best ideas. In FPA 2, the winners were:
1st – Polyhouse for Floriculture
2nd – Piggery (Breeding)
3rd – Food Processing (Jam and Juices)

In FPA 3, the winners were:
1st – Spring Shed Development
2nd – Check Dam
3rd – Canal with Filtration
