The Umiew CMU team continued the PRA exercise at Umphyrnai under Mawryngkneng Block
On 6th May 2026, the Umiew CMU team continued the PRA exercise at Umphyrnai under Mawryngkneng Block, with the participation of 13 community members and village representatives.
During the programme, information was collected using various PRA tools such as the Seasonal Calendar, Resource Map, Social Map, Seed Calendar, Transect Map, SWOT Analysis, and Problem Analysis.
The village community highlighted the importance of soil and water conservation measures, as well as the protection of water bodies. The priority activities identified by the participants included the construction of check dams, retaining walls, and plantation activities.
