The Umiew CMU team successfully conducted FPA Contest 1 at Pomlakrai Umiew, Mylliem C&RD Block.

On 10th March 2026, the Umiew CMU team successfully conducted FPA Contest 1 at Pomlakrai Umiew, Mylliem C&RD Block. The drawing competition saw enthusiastic participation from 66 children, while 6 participants took part in the storytelling competition.

Through the drawing competition, children creatively expressed their ideas on environmental protection and highlighted the causes of environmental destruction. Meanwhile, participants in the storytelling competition shared insightful narratives focusing on the history of the village and its formation.

The competition provided a meaningful platform for participants to showcase their creativity, cultural knowledge, and awareness of environmental issues.
